NEVER BOARD

This young people's residency was delivered in collaboration with Heart n Soul and their participation program, Do Your Own Thing. It was a creative arts initiative designed for young people with learning disabilities, aged 10-25. Over two summers in 2017 and 2018, participants engaged in the creative process, producing artwork under the guidance of myself and artists Hannah Mason and Richard Phoenix. The residency culminated in a vibrant exhibition showcasing their work at the end of each summer. Following this success, the group was later invited to participate in a series of pop-up events at Tate Modern, further expanding their creative opportunities and engagement with the art community.
